Ray Sandoval, the New Years Eve on the Plaza event chairman, unplugs the "2023" light that, along with the Zia at right, will be raised above the Plaza at the start of the new years. This is the 8th years the event is being held on the Santa Fe Plaza. The 2023 sign is reused each year just changing the las number.
